This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to cancellations, modifications, and refund requests. By making a reservation with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions:
1. General Provisions
- Refund eligibility is determined by the type of booking selected at the time of reservation (refundable or non-refundable).
- Refunds, when applicable, will only be processed through the original payment method used at the time of booking.
- Any bank transfer fees, credit card charges, or processing fees applied by financial institutions are the responsibility of the guest.
2. Non-Refundable
- Bookings Bookings made under special offers, promotional rates, early bird discounts, last-minute deals, or long-stay packages are strictly non-refundable.
- In case of cancellation, no monetary refund will be provided.
- Guests may, however, request to reschedule their stay dates. Rescheduling is subject to:
- Availability of rooms.
- Seasonal rate differences (rate adjustments may apply).
- Written request submitted at least 14 days before the original check-in date.
3. Refundable Bookings
- Bookings classified as refundable follow these conditions:
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before arrival: Eligible for a full refund, excluding bank or transfer fees.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival: Subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s stay.
- No-shows (failure to check in without prior notice): 100% of the booking amount will be charged, with no refund.
- Early check-outs: No refund will be issued for unused nights once the guest has checked in.
4. Bookings via Third Parties (OTA, Travel Agencies, Corporate Accounts)
- If your reservation is made through an Online Travel Agent (OTA) such as Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Airbnb, or similar platforms, the refund policy will strictly follow the terms and conditions stated on the respective platform.
- If your booking is made through an Offline Travel Company, Wholesaler, or Corporate Travel Agency, any cancellations, amendments, or refunds must be processed through that respective agent. The resort is not authorized to override or alter refund policies set by third-party partners.
- Guests are advised to carefully review the cancellation and refund policy on the channel through which they booked, as it may differ from the resort’s direct booking policy.
5. Force Majeure / Exceptional Circumstances
- In cases where cancellations are caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond the guest’s control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, flight cancellations, or acts of God), The Tunjung Boutique Resort may, at its sole discretion:
- Offer a full or partial refund, or
- Provide a credit voucher for future stays (valid for 12 months), or
- Allow rescheduling of dates without penalty, subject to availability.
- Proper documentation (e.g., flight cancellation proof, government notice) may be required to process such requests.
6. Refund Processing
- Refunds, once approved, will be processed within 14 business days.
- Refunds will only be made to the original source of payment (e.g., the same credit card or bank account used for booking).
- The resort is not responsible for delays caused by banking institutions, credit card companies, or third-party booking platforms.
